Swim Lessons
Bridger had his 1st year of swim lessons. Denise Gilbert was his teacher and the first day we went he bawled the entire half hour he was in the pool. I asked Denise when I got him out of the pool if that was the longest half hour of her life and she said close. She also told me to tell him what she told him. "Bridger, you can cry all you want but we are still going to do this." Well it worked. We got home and he didnt want anything to do with going back. I told him cry all you want we are still going. The next day he cried while I was taking his hat and shirt off and that was it all week. He is a gad dang fish!! I was so proud. He jumps off the side of the pool, kicks to the surface, relaxes and floats on his pillow arms, then does monkey, airplane, soldier to the side of the pool. I will have to upload the photos later because I don't have a digital camera and have to wait to get my film developed. I am so old fashioned.
Anniversary
Kacey and I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on July 12th. We didn't do anything all day - which was really nice. Then in the evening we went to Pocatello to Remo's and had dinner. Can I just say that I love food. That was the best meal I have eaten in quite some time. I had cheese ravioli and Kacey had a rib eye. We both enjoyed it alot! Don't be jealous of us we go all out ha ha ha!!
4th of July
For the 4th of July Kacey, Bridger, Janiece, Bailey, McKell and I went to the parade in Soda. BORING!!! We didn't hardly get any candy and that ticked me off more than Bridger. After the parade we went to the Qick Stop (those of you who remember this place will remember the tater logs and dirt YUMMY). We got chicken and tater logs and decided to have a picnic. Then later that night we went to Lava to the fireworks. While we waited for them to begin Mom, Kacey, Bridger and I went to the Royal Hotel to have some yummy pizza. Then we met up with Janiece and her girls again to watch the fireworks.
